Appearance: [ image ]

Charlie is of average height, 5'5", and a slight build. She prefers comfortable clothes such as jeans, novelty t-shirts and hoodies, and will occassionaly go for the over-sized sweater if she's feeling it. She's got red hair which she changes up every now and then, and her particular haircut involves a straight-across bang cut. She's got thick-rimmed glasses that she wears from time to time, as well as a tattoo of Princess Leia in a slave girl bikinia atride a 20=sided dice on her lower back.
Inventory:
- wallet, including various credit cards, ID and passport, as well as two or three fake IDs and credit cards
- iPad case, no iPad
- backpack with one pair of dirty clothes only

Abilities: Charlie, despite being totally awesome and above average is most every way, is completely human. There is not a single superhuman-ability inside this redhead, despite how long and how hard she might have wished and waited and dreamed. However, Charlie is extremely talented when it comes to hacking, and almost anything technological will simply turn to puddy at her finger-tips (metaphorically speaking). Technology is her playground, and she likes to think that as long as something has a harddrive and a motherboard she can hack into it and manipulate it to do her bidding. This won't be very helpful for her in Cape Kore, however, but it's something of a talent of hers. Something that has gotten her into so much trouble it's not even funny, but still a talent. She's also well-versed in most things pop-culture related. And by most, she means all, and it's really just a subtle attempt at her being modest.

Personality:
The thing about Charlie Bradbury, besides the fact that Charlie Bradbury isn't really her name and merely a construct of some of her favorite literary figures, is that she is one hundred percent a product of her accidental genius and unintentional decisions. Because no twelve year old really knows what they're getting into when the download a game off the internet, nor do they really understand what it means to break 'copyright' in the mid-ninties by changing up the game and rereleasing it out on the internet for free. As far as she was concerned, she was just showing off her left-wing politics in a way that stuck it to the man. She's got a problem with authority like that, undermining The Man in any way she can (without too much interaction in person, of course). However, what she didn't realize was that this political move would get the feds after her, and she's been on the run ever sense.

Charlie is snarky, intelligent, usually with all bark and no bite when it comes to anything really serious. This is mostly because her life has always been hiding behind a computer screen, and while that has built up her personality and confidence in a way that she feels powerful and confident, when faced with IRL interactions, she can sometimes clam up. Her willpower is a little stronger than that, though, and when the going gets tough she knows what she needs to do, and she'll do it. Usually with some help from Dean and Sam, but not only because of their help. Ever since running into these hunters when she worked for Dick Roman, a.k.a. literal Leviathan Dick-bag, her life has been about trying to find an escape, hiding out away from the real world because it's actually full of monsters. Like, actual monsters. But, as it so happens, these things don't just leave you alone, and Charlie has found herself being dragged into a couple of the Winchester Boys shenanigans, and she's found that it's been a good influence on her. One, to live her life, and two, to grow up a little. Let go. She might be easily intimidated and timid, but she has a strong sense of what is right and wrong, and when the going gets tough she will step and do what needs to be done.

When Charlie was twelve, before the whole 'copied over and released for free' video fiasco, her parents were in a car accident while driving to pick her up from a sleep-over. For years this knowledge shaped who Charlie was, because she constantly blamed herself for her father's death and clung desperately to her mother, who was in a vegetative state. She's spent her life running, because of that mistake, but she's always come back to the hospital that houses her mother, usually sneaking in to read the Hobbit to her. This was basically Charlie's way of trying to run from her past, but her subconscious knowing that's impossible. She knows what's right, and even if she doesn't want to be the person to stand up and do it, she will. Which is why, after a very mentally scarring experience with a djinn on steroids (and a little Dean Winchester therapy session), Charlie was able to let go of that mistake. She was able to forgive herself, and let her mother go. It wasn't easy, because no one wants to be the cause of their mother's death, but she knew it was necessary. And knew that she needed to grow up that much more.

Because of her life on the run, Charlie doesn't trust easily. She hides behind an overconfidence that comes only from knowing your field (a.k.a. IT departments and LARPing games) but it's really just a mask to cover the fact she's never really found her place. When she worked for Dick Roman, she was a little more daring with her hacking - taking money from the company to give to charities that supported her ideals and assuming that since she was too good, she'd never get caught. That all changed, when she found out that there are things such as Leviathans and her boss happened to be one of them, but eh. Things happen. After helping Dean and Sam take him down, she hit the road as fast as her legs could carry her. Since then, she moves around and keeps on the down-low as much as she can to keep the feds off her trail, and avoids making any real connections with people for that exact reason. However, because of what she's gone through with Dean and Sam, she considers them close. Dean a little more so, but that tends to happen when someone walks into your worst nightmare and forces you to face your fears. She trusts them, and they're probably the only people she does trust, but that's okay for her. For now, at least. With the comfort of a life on the DL and a group of friends back in Michigan, Charlie can be content with her life. As long as she doesn't suddenly come across any strange occurrences or cases, because if she does, Dean and Sam will usually get an email about them. But besides those brothers, most of her relationships are on a fairly shallow level - usually just about Moondoor, or other areas of interest of hers (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars being a few of her favorites).

When it comes down to it, Charlie is an expert hacker, nerd-culture fanatic, and LARPing Queen (no but actually). She has obsessive qualities, tends to hide behind sarcasm and wit, and has a taste for electronic pop and table-top games. Also, extremely flirtatious with the ladies (and usually quite lucky as well).

When Charlie opens her eyes, she almost wants to hit herself. Why? Well, of all the things you could come up with when you open your eyes and find yourself somewhere that is not where you expect? We're not in Kansas anymore is so cliche and generic and unoriginal, it's almost not even worth it. No matter if it actually works, or is totally applicable. Granted, she thinks waking up to some kind of Willy Wonka-esque color scheme and meeting the good witch (who would be really hot, hopefully) would be so much better than...this.

Because this? This is creepy. Creepy in the bad way. And the last she checked she was driving, after making an emotionally draining decision at the hospital, and now this? This was not helpful. Not necessary. Definitely not appreciated. She looks around, and then behind her, and then everywhere else she hasn't already looked before standing still and closing her eyes.

"Okay, I'd like to go home now." And she waits, for half a second, before the temptation is too much and she cracks an eye open. Nope, still in Silent Hill on the Beach. With a huff and her hands on her hips, Charlie decides to backtrack through her day. Hallucinator drugs? No, definitely not. No alcohol, no other kinds of drugs, and last she checked there wasn't any djinn trying to kill her again. Because this wasn't exactly a reoccurring dream, or nightmare, of her's. So...what did that leave?

"Duh!" Forehead slap aside, Charlie pulls the backpack off her shoulder, pausing for just a moment to take notice of the fancy smancy wrist device before shaking her head, putting that aside for now to take care of something a little more important. She reaches into her backpack and immediately finds her iPad, getting her hand around the familiar case and pulling out...an empty case. She frowns, looks around to see if anyone was going to come out with some kind of 'punk'd' sign, before the panic actually starts to set in. Two minutes and seventeen seconds before everything is out of her backpack and she's suddenly very, very aware of the fact that she's missing...well. Her entire life. Her iPad, her iPhone, her controllers, her DS, everything.

"Alright, this isn't funny anymore." And when the ocean-scape doesn't answer, she throws her backpack down on the ground, huffing a little. "Seriously, guys. Or monsters. Or whoever. WHOEVER! This isn't funny anymore!"

And for the first time in her entire life, she kind of wishes there were crickets. At least it'd be something.

[ Well hello news feed, have the eyes and forehead and bangs of a redhead, which is all you can really see for all of thirty seconds before Charlie finally decides to pull the feed a little further away from her face. The eyes go from one side to the next, and back again, before - as she pulls the feed back so the camera can see her face - straight forward. ]

Alright, bitches. Really funny. I might be forgetting something, but I'm pretty sure the genre-cross isn't supposed to happen for another two weeks. So this whole Silent Hill thing? While really cool and thought out and overall A plus for effort, not helpful. If you don't remember, I've got a kingdom to look over. So send me back - or, if you really need to work this out, we can duel. Gimme a sword and a time and I'll meet you there, and pwn your sorry asses.

[ And yeah, you see that look? Totally intimidating. For all of a minute, before it drops and Charlie is suddenly a lot more worried. And terrified. And maybe thinking this isn't some kind of game set up by her rival clans. ]

I'm serious, guys. This isn't funny. I just- home? Yeah? Please? [ She bites her lower lip for a second, looking around again. ] Not that I don't appreciate the effort. I just... I picked a medieval game for a reason, you know. This isn't my kind of thing. Oh- [ And suddenly, they're onto something much more important. She's suddenly changed back over from being slightly terrified to intimidating again. ] Whoever took my iPad, if I don't get it back ASAP someone is going to pay. Okay?

Okay. [ No, just in case you were wondering, her voice did not crack. ] Um. Guess that's...it? Peace out?
